Volunteerism-Im Loving It!

Saira feels "Everyday I realize I am stuck in my routine tasks. I don't feel guilty pretending that I am contented with whatever I am doing of my life. A job of my choice, a partner who loves me, a family that cares, I have everything that a person needs to live a normal life. There are a couple of times when things don't go right and that is when duties ask too much of me. But otherwise, I spend enough time with my near and dear ones. I feel I have given back enough to the world to think about whether I could give anything more. Largely, everything being fine, sometimes a very intense feeling still creeps in that something somewhere is missing. There is more to 'the worth' that can fill my life."

Saira, you seem out of work!!!! But, let's see how we can help you. To make your day you'll need to make a stranger smile or be happy about you being around, even if that may mean doing the most simplest gesture or taking that extra effort.

Saira "How difficult could it be to make a stranger smile? Anyways, give me an example of how you would have done the same?"

Fly High!

When things are just not going right and in spite of repeated attempts you fail to see the expected results, its time for you to feel light and be happy, because it’s a sign that soon things are going to be fine, and not some but all related things are going to be fine.
It’s then when you should ideally stop and look back at all that happened. It’s a state in which you can best decipher what the guiding light had in store for you, what the learnings were and why the were so timed. No sooner than you have the answer it will be time for you to receive and accept the most pleasant destination of yours. Something that you had missed to consider as a possibility and something that turns out to be so surprisingly perfect for what the time asks of you.

Feel light...to be ready to take-off when there is a chance…. fly high!

Date: January 12th, 2010. Another beginning; Volunteering at Dilkhush School for the Mentally Challenged, Art and Craft Workshop.
